Heather & Maurice were married in an elegant and thoughtful ceremony on a blustery, rainy day at the lovely Villa Antonia. Although the rain changed the plans a little, this wedding was still full of emotion, beauty and family. It was probably one of the most memorable vow exchanges I’ve witnessed. I have learned to not say “Oh, it’s good luck” when a wedding gets moved due to rain, because, as one of my oldest and dearest friends (whose own wedding went to Plan B due to rain) says, “It should be Texas law to punch someone in the face who tells you ‘It’s good luck’”. I think you will see though, that the beauty of this wedding was obvious.
I love the moody quality a cloudy day can lend and I was happy I got to spend the day with Heather, Maurice and their friends and family.
I also have to give a big fat shout out to Dave McLaughlin, who second shot this wedding with me. If you don’t know Dave, you should.
Here are the details, which were amazing as evidenced by my first ever 16 image collage!
