If you have not been to this little gem on South Lamar, go right now!! It’s a shipping container turned bakery and coffee shop. Yummy French press coffee, the BEST croissants this side of Paris (not doughy, but flaky and crispy on the outside like they should be) and other tasty treats – what’s not to like?

These two fab people are getting married in Mexico, but wanted some fun Austin city flavor for their engagement session. I love this session because I feel like we got a more cosmopolitan view of our city. I think it matches the two of them to a ‘T’.

Celia and Dustin are as sweet as can be. When I’d speak with other vendors working on their wedding they would all say the same thing. “Don’t you just LOVE them?” Why yes, yes I do. They had a beautiful wedding in Dripping Springs at Vista West Ranch. The sky was very threatening all day, but held out to allow for a very emotional outdoor ceremony. These two are so happy when they are together. No matter what else was going on, they would always have a smile for each other. There is a beautiful warmth about their relationship.
The wedding was coordinated by the always amazing Wendee Robbins Sawran of Lucie’s Events with Floral by Petal Pushers. I also have to give a HUGE thanks to my friend Sherry Hammonds for second shooting this wedding with me. It’s always so fun to have her around and man is she good.

I was lucky enough to be invited to a lunch at 2 Dine 4′s Swoop House the other week. The lovely ladies of BZ Events invited me along.
Not only is the food amazing, but they are great people as well. Definitely consider them if you are looking for a caterer (or a rehearsal dinner site – the Swoop House is adorable!). Here is a little peek of our yummy dessert. Homemade peanut butter ice cream over a brownie with strawberry sauce. Heaven…
Sweet baby Henry! I love this little bundle of boy. I had so much with him at his parent’s gorgeous east Austin home. It was a nice change of pace from our studio shoot when he was a tiny newborn. Thanks so much you three! I can’t wait to see what he has in store for me next time!
Henry has a way cool room – it’s all robots and space stuff.

SUCH a fun morning with Chelsea, Jacob and Burk. We hit all sorts of spots in Austin and had a great time. I cannot wait for their April wedding at Vista West Ranch – it’s going to be so fun!!!
