Timeless Wedding Images for the Modern Bride and Groom. Austin, Texas and beyond

Here’s some fun and delicious for you to look at this rainy, dreary Sunday in Austin (Hope the weather is fab wherever you are).
I helped out the ladies over at BZ Events for a post they did before the holidays. We went to Antonelli’s Cheese to see what they had to say about cheese and gift baskets for the holidays. Bonus is that we got samples of yummy stuff. If you haven’t been to this delight of a shop, go right now. Maybe I’ll see you there!
The BZ Events post can be found HERE.

Shannon Cunningham is an Austin Wedding Photographer and would give up chocolate before she gave up cheese.
Phew!
2009 is coming to a close today and it has been a whirlwind year for me both professionally and personally. I shot more weddings and met more sweet newborns, newly engaged couples and fun families than I ever have.
I worked and played with some of the most amazing photographers this industry has to offer. Seriously, Austin has the most wonderful community of photographers and wedding professionals. I am so lucky to call many of them my friends. I learn from and am inspired by all of you every day!
I watched my little girl turn into a beautiful, funny, silly and smart four year old. She and my husband are, as always, my biggest source of inspiration and the center of my life.
My work has left me satisfied and really pleased with the direction my little company is taking. It’s never been my goal to be the most famous photographer. I just want happy clients that trust me with some of the most important memories of their lives and luckily that is what I have. So for that, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys are the reasons I happily give up many of my Saturdays and spend late nights smiling at my computer screen while editing.
I hope that 2009 has been a great year for you and I wish you amazing happiness in 2010! I can’t wait to see what you all have in store for me.
XOXO

I hope you all are having a wonderful and joyous Christmas today!!
If you have been following my Twitter feed, I was talking about how much I love wrapping presents. I found out that lots of you do too (and lots of you also offered to let me take over your wrapping for next year – maybe I should make it a charity project), so I thought I’d show you my wrapping this year.
I like to pick a color theme. This year I wanted something chic and sleek with a pop of color. I’m sure Savannah will not appreciate it as she dives into her gifts, but I thought you all might.
I hope you have lots of presents under the tree and had a great time with your family and friends.
XOXO
Shannon

I never showed you a full photo of Savannah’s Halloween costume and it was so adorable, now I must. I know it’s December 5th, but it’s really cute!
She ran around the neighborhood yelling “Squawk! Squawk! I’m a peacock!”
Then my mom added fuel to the fire by calling her a ‘stunning’ peacock, so she then she ran around the neighborhood yelling “I’m a stunning peacock!”
Happy belated Halloween!

Today’s post is dedicated to all photographers and anyone who has had the pleasure {and sometimes excruciating pain} of working with Photoshop. If this photo makes no sense to you – I apologize, check back tomorrow.
I snagged this off the LuxCetera Blog because it made me smile.
