The lovely Jill and Matt were married this past Saturday at Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs. Much more to come, but congrats you two!

Can’t wait to see the rest, love your work.
Thank you!
My love of photographing a wedding at Vista West Ranch never seems to diminish. I shot one of the first weddings there and generally get invited out by a wonderful couple at least a few times a year. There is always something new and beautiful and I try to see the space differently every time I go because each couple’s wedding is their own. The wonderful Leslie and Matt were married there in the spring and my favorite thing about them is the joy that they radiate when they are around each other. Leslie told me early on in the process that they weren’t a publicly affectionate, kissy couple. The two of them are proof that you don’t have to go overboard on the PDA to make your love visible to the outside world.
I had a wonderful day with you two – thanks so much for having me along!

The Nelli’s! Kelli and Noah kicked off their wedding weekend with a delightful rehearsal dinner at the Salt Lick Pavilion in Dripping Springs, Texas. There were many personal touches and even beer donkeys. These two little guys were the cutest! The evening was filled with hugs and sweet speeches and finished off with a s’mores station in front of the fire pit.
It was the perfect prelude to ‘Nelli Day’, which if you haven’t already seen it on Style Me Pretty, then you will see it here soon!

With the current August heat, it’s hard to remember how beautiful the weather was this spring. Let’s look back at a delightful spring wedding! Gabby and Crayton are a ton of fun and I knew their wedding day would be filled with friendship and good times.
They had a wonderful day at one of my favorite venues, The Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center. This venue is always lovely, but was even more dramatic than normal with the addition of a huge white tent over the courtyard. It went perfectly with the Calvin Klein inspired, minimalist white design the couple chose. The day was filled with a sweet ceremony that included ‘Tebowing’ and tears, cupcakes and crazy dancing under a perfect Austin spring night.
Congrats you two – nothing but the best to you!

The lovely Liz was married a few weeks ago, so I thought I’d kick off my summer blogging with her bridal portraits at Le San Michele.
It was a hot, hot day (and I always feel so terrible for brides on a hot sunny day!), but I enjoyed spending time with both Liz and her mom. Liz’s dress is amazing – it’s a little difficult to see in the photos, but the beading is just incredible. It’s one of the more distinctive gowns I’ve seen in quite some time. Plus it fit her like a dream and that plus a gorgeous girl with a great smile is a recipe for a great session.
Enjoy and happy weekend everyone!
This first one was my favorite and she chose it as her display portrait at The Driskill – love it!

It was back to the Driskill Hotel yesterday for the wonderful wedding of Karen and Austen. They are just two darling, happy people and I loved spending the day with them.
More later!
