Liz and Tim are married! They had a lovely ceremony at First United Methodist Church followed by a reception at the Driskill Hotel yesterday. Fun times…more to come.
Liz was a bridesmaid in Virginia and Charles’s wedding this past Saturday, so I thought it would be perfect to follow up that post with Liz and Tim’s Engagement photos! The two of them will be getting married at The Driskill Hotel in a few short days and I can’t wait!
We shot their photos around South Congress and Zilker Park and it was one of the first really hot days we had. We had fun walking around and getting to know each other better. Poor Tim was feeling a bit miserable from the heat by the end of the session, but totally manned up and looked great in all of the photos. He is an example to all grooms! These two are wonderful together and I can’t wait to see them married.
See you guys soon!
I know normally I have some DIY wedding crafty awesomeness or some blingy shoes to show you on Friday (and believe me, I have some amazing shoes lined up), but as I was editing Jill and Greg’s wedding photos, I kept coming back to this simple little image from their rehearsal dinner. Is it my most creative photo ever? No, but I love it anyways because it is real.
I often tell couples I meet with that your wedding day is one of the only days in your entire life that everyone you know and love is in the same room. Life takes us in so many directions and friends and family are often scattered across the world. A genuine, excited hug from a good friend (and their adorbale madras-shorts wearing child) is going to be one of the best parts of your wedding. Make sure you enjoy it!
Now that Tim and Courtney’s wedding has been published on Style Me Pretty, I can show you their amazing love story at Vista West Ranch on MY blog! I will copy a bit of what I wrote for Style Me Pretty, because it really does sum up how I feel about these two. I think everyone that worked with them fell in love with them too.
Courtney and Tim have the kind of crazy-head-over-heels love that everyone wants. From the moment I met them, I knew that not only would their wedding be beautiful, but it would also be meaningful and full of love. They picked an eclectic mix of decor, featuring muted tones and quirky, vintage styling. Their ceremony and reception was at the always charming Vista West Ranch. Highlights of the day included their exchange of meaningful notes and gifts, the lovely ceremony and the point in the reception when Courtney revealed she’d found an old Buck Owens guitar as a present for Tim. Buck Owens’ music played a big part in their relationship and it was a super sweet moment. They are two of the most lovely clients I have ever worked with, and I wish them nothing but the best!
