Timeless Wedding Images for the Modern Bride and Groom. Austin, Texas and beyond

Another one of my lovely out of town couples!
Krishna and Leonard came in from Houston to shoot their portraits and we had a beautiful (though windy – I’m kind of over the wind) evening to walk around town. These two are outdoorsy/travellers/food lovers and just all around fun. We had a great meeting the first time we met and this evening was just an extension of that. Good times, good conversation – just how I like it! I am very much looking forward to their Fall Hamilton Twelve wedding this year.
Enjoy and I’ll talk to you soon!

I knew I would love Liz the first time we talked on the phone. She is so sweet and full of positive energy. I met Alex at their engagement session and knew that his calm demeanor was a perfect match for Liz. They have a very sweet, subtle way with each other. It’s like they just know what each other needs. I love that.
They had a perfect early summer day for their outdoor wedding at Hamilton Twelve. Smiles and fun all day long. Thanks for having me along you two! Many happy days to you!!!
I have to say thanks to Annie and the staff out at Hamilton Twelve. They do such a great job and are amazingly nice people. Also, this was my lovely second shooter Tali’s first wedding back from maternity leave. She rocked it out!! I love you Tali!

Liz’s Dad brews beer and her brewed some especially for the wedding. They handed it out at the Rehearsal Dinner. Adorable!

The car was a big hit with the guys as you might imagine.
Liz wanted to recreate a photo from her Grandparent’s wedding. They left their wedding in a car very similar to this one.

Hooray for change! You may have noticed that this is currently the extent of my website.
I’m making some changes to my website – new images, a new logo, some buffing and shining. I can’t wait to show it to you.
Current clients with proofing galleries up – never fear – you can still access your gallery through the front page of my website by clicking on those beautiful blue shoes of Leah’s.
In the meantime, I’ll still be updating the blog, so please keep checking back here. You can always access me directly through email or the phone.
I also have a spiffy new contact form on the Shannon Cunningham Facebook page.
Just click and send me a note with your info.

There were very few people that were sad to see the drought end on September 12, 2009. Those people included everyone involved with Jolie and Jordan’s Hamilton Twelve wedding. But despite the rain, they had a lovely, chic and completely romantic wedding day filled with lots of love and beautiful details. It’s never great to have to go to Plan B when the weather doesn’t cooperate, but sometimes the rain adds a moody, dramatic quality to your wedding day that you just can’t get with blazing sun. I loved it. Jolie and Jordan also handled the rain with grace – they were great sports and even ventured out into the drizzle with me for their portraits.
I enjoyed Jolie and Jordan’s enthusiasm for each other and their wedding so much. They were just happy to be with each other – it certainly didn’t matter what the weather was.
There was a great team of vendors working this wedding including Becky Brock and Lorena Molina, who coordinated the day beautifully. I also had my Tali with me. Other vendors are listed at the end.
Thanks so much you two! I hope that Italy was wonderful!!!!!
The details were amazing. The beautiful swirl pattern was carried throughout the wedding (even on the wine bottles!) and I just adored that Paloma’s Nest bowl.
Jordan and Jolie are a Longhorn and Aggie, respectively (just like my husband and I!). The Longhorn cake was allowed as long as Jolie got to ‘Saw Varsity’s Horns off’ (SHORT! WHOOP! – Sorry, that’s a habit)
OK, I would like to launch a campaign to bring back the traveling outfit!! Look how cute these two are in their ‘Get-a-way Outfits’! Plus, as Jolie told me, it was an excuse for more shoe shopping.

OK, so…are you ready?
No, I’m serious – get your comfy chairs out, maybe get a snack and a beverage, put the kids to bed & set your DVR. This is a crazy long post.
I went through the images the first time to narrow down for the blog and ended up with 207 images. So….yeah. I edited a bit more ruthlessly the second time around, but it was HARD! I love this couple, their friends and family and their wedding. I really feel like everyone should get to experience the magic that is Stephanie & Jeremy at least for one day.
I always feel privileged to photograph a wedding day, but some days are extra special. This was one of those days for me.
I also need to give a MAJOR shout out to my girl Sherry Hammonds, who second shot this wedding with me. Complete vendor info is at the end.
Congrats you two and Bon Voyage a Paris!
Bikes and Paris were a wonderful recurring theme at this wedding. You may remember this awesome couple from their bike -themed engagement session
I hope Stephanie does not punch me in the mouth for posting this – I just thought it was so cute.
A SWING!
The getaway vehicles.
Don’t even get me started on how much I loved this.
XOXO,
Shannon
