Amy and Kepper! We already know and love them from their incredible rehearsal dinner, so now let’s get down to business with their wedding, yes? These two live in Virginia where Kepper is a helicopter pilot for the Navy and Amy works as a government contractor. There was much debate about the location of their wedding, but as they said, once they visited Becker Vineyards, they knew that a Texas Hill Country summer wedding was for them!
Amy and her girls got ready in a super charming house in downtown Fredericksburg. For a photographer, it was a great location. Bright and airy and full of charm. Kepper got ready at his parents equally charming home in Fredericksburg.

Amy and Kepper’s ceremony was unique in that it featured readings from two former Presidents; John Adams and Ronald Reagan. The readings were love letters to their wives and the letters made me happy that my camera has autofocus, because I was a little misty after hearing them. I love unusual, personal elements in a wedding ceremony!
I liked them so much, I went and found one on the ol’ interwebs. It is below and I hope you enjoy. It’s from Ronald Reagan to Nancy Reagan on their wedding anniversary.

Dear First Lady,
I know tradition has it that on this morning I place cards Happy Anniversary cards on your breakfast tray. But things are somewhat mixed up. I substituted a gift & delivered it a few weeks ago.
Still this is the day, the day that marks 31 years of such happiness as comes to few men. I told you once that it was like an adolescent’s dream of what marriage should be like. That hasn’t changed.
You know I love the ranch but these last two days made it plain I only love it when you are there. Come to think of it that’s true of every place & every time. When you aren’t there I’m no place, just lost in time & space.
I more than love you, I’m not whole without you. You are life itself to me. When you are gone I’m waiting for you to return so I can start living again.
Happy Anniversary & thank you for 31 wonderful years.
I love you
Your Grateful Husband
I mean, right?! Wow.

Amy has the best big smile and most contagious laugh. You’ll see it several more times in this post. Love. Her.
