Lindsay & Lee: Engaged

Oh I am soooo behind on blogging! So…Lindsay & Lee.

Love. Them. The two of them met out in San Diego, but as all good Texans do, Lindsay brought Lee back to the promised land. I can relate.

We had a wonderful morning in historic Gruene and as always, I am so happy that I got to spend some time with them. I really love engagement sessions. It’s such a relaxed time and it helps me make better images at a couple’s wedding. Also, you’ll not be surprised when I’m laying on the ground or climbing on something to get a shot.

I love knowing about my clients and want a totally comfortable relationship with them by the time the wedding rolls around. This is such a personal, relationship driven business for me. You are not a number or a date to me! Always remember that.

Also, take note of what these two are wearing – I loved it – especially Lindsay’s rockin’ shoes. As I always say “Coordinate, but do not match”.

On to pics!

I love harsh light, and while I know it’s not the most comfortable to pose in, it looks so awesome.

Yes, I found an alley in Gruene

Hi Shannon.
I love your pics here! I have to ask, having been going to Gruene since I was 5 and am now 42! When/What time were you guys there for that parking lot in the second to last shot to be empty?! Was it a holiday or were you guys there super early?

Great work.

Hey Martha – thanks!

We were there sort of early (around 9AM) on a Sunday. There were still a lot of people there, but we got lucky.
