Ashley + Zac: Married

Ashley and Zac were married on one of the first really hot day of the summer. You know that day that you wake up and know that Texas summer is upon you? But no matter – we all knew it was coming and these two wouldn’t have minded if there was a tornado – they were just happy to be with each other. I loved seeing how relaxed and happy they were right after the ceremony. Smiles were all around. Their fun bridal party (who doesn’t want bridesmaids that will sing Sweet Caroline with you right before the ceremony?) and great family helped make this day fantastic.

A big thank you to James who knocked second shooting duties out of the park.  I hope he blogs some of his shots as well because they were stellar! Plus he is a delight to have around. Go look at his pretty pictures! On a random note, James is also the creative mastermind behind out Urban Wedding Divas Profile Pic.

Can you see the resemblance between Ashley and Mom here?

Ashley is incredibly animated, which is a dream for a photographer. I believe that her bridesmaid just told her how many more minutes until the ceremony here.

The reception was held at the UT Alumni Center. This was my first time shooting there and what a great space! You could do so many things with this room and the food was great!

I couldn’t pass this up.

I just really love this image and wanted to share it with you. I think it sums up the fun, young feeling at this reception.
