It’s time! Time for Lori and Jason on the blog and I can’t wait for you to see it!
I knew Lori and Jason would be fun as soon as I saw them together at their engagement session. They giggle, they have a good time, they mess around. They are a dream couple and I’m glad I know them. Their and their families’ big hearts, hospitality and crazy dancing made this day just delightful for me.
These two were married at The Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin in an emotional, heartfelt ceremony followed by a rocking, super-fun reception. The couple went with a loungey/rat-pack/50′s decor. It was stupendous! The entire mezzanine was decorated in black and white with pops of coral. The guys were dressed in classic tuxes with fedoras and the ladies were in black cocktail dresses. This wedding certainly had a timeless feel to it.
Cortney and her team at BZ Events created a lot of the special touches and made sure the day went off seamlessly. I can’t thank you gals enough for all of your help. I also have to say that the staff at The Driskill was amazing as well. So courteous and I had, hands down, the BEST vendor meal of my wedding photographer life at this wedding. Yea Austin! Yea Driskill!
Dave McLaughlin was along for the second shooting ride and was as fun and talented as always.
Enjoy the photos you guys and thank you so much for having me along at this incredible celebration.

Shannon, these are stunning! I love weddings at the Driskill and being an Austin-native was excited to see your post on Twitter to bring me back home
The wedding was beautiful and you captured some really fun moments! Great work!
